What the Manifestation of Prophecy is:
The manifestation of prophecy is a revelation manifestation from the gift of holy spirit.
Prophecy is getting a message from God and then delivering that message. It can be fore-telling the future or forth-telling a current message to any person or group of people that God directs you to deliver his message to.
Prophecy is speaking, writing, or otherwise telling a message from God to a person or a group of people.
When in church or in a believer’s meeting, it is generally forth-telling. And that is a message of edification, exhortation and comfort from God toward his people. 1 Cor. 14:3
For most people, when they think of prophecy, popular images of Moses in the Old Testament laying down the law comes to mind. Or Daniel foretelling the future to the king of Babylon. Or the Apostle John cryptically foretelling a scary future in the Book of Revelation.
While these are examples of prophecy, there is more to it than that.
What Prophecy is For:
The “apostle” Paul says in 1 Cor. 14:4: “He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.”
The word “edifies” means actively building up on a solid foundation. And so that should be ongoing not just a one time thing.
So then, when you speak prophecy in church or among other believers you will build up and bless and strengthen those believers around you.
How to Prophecy
When God, Jesus Christ or even an angel of the Lord gives you a message to deliver to one person or a group, and you deliver that message, that is prophecy.
Although prophecy is usually spoken, it may also be delivered in writing, or it may be given another way, such as sign language. Whatever best conveys the message.
The point is, when a message from God is delivered from one person to another that is prophecy. Simple, right?
But how then do you get this message from God to deliver? Find out on the audio sermon! All will be explained to that you can do it too.
