Healing is nature’s way of repairing any living organism. Biblical Healing Myth #2: There are others who seem to think that healing is not available today. They say it was just a “Jesus thing”. That only Jesus, his apostles and maybe a few prophets were able to do that. This also is a myth. Healing and being healed is very much available today to any born again Christian the same way it was in the bible.

Biblical Healing Myth #3: And there are some who actually have the nerve to say that God is the one who sends sickness and death to make us humble, or to test our faith or teach us a lesson. What a bunch of baloney!

Healing is available RIGHT NOW, TODAY!

In 1 Corinthians 12:7-10 there is a list of manifestations that shows some of what the gift of holy spirit can do for us. In verse 9 it says, “to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit”.

It’s called “Gifts” (plural) of Healing because when someone is sick or injured there are usually multiple issues that need to be addressed of many different things in various ways. Any doctor would agree with that.

There is record through out the entire bible where men and women of God manifested gifts of healing. When you read about them, it always seems like it was so easy for them to do.

• Like in John 11: 43 where Jesus walks up to Lazarus’ tomb and says, “Lazarus, come forth!” And out he comes.
• In Acts 3:6 when Peter heals a crippled man by commanding him to rise up and walk. And he did! …and we could go on for hours pouring over dozens of scriptures that detail great healers.
