You are receiving instruction from God on what to do with the information that God gave you through word of knowledge.

Word of Knowledge: Hearing from God by Revelation

These are revelation manifestations of the Gift of Holy Spirit. Word means message. It is you receiving a message from God. Usually it’s special information from God concerning any given situation.

Word of Wisdom: Knowing What to Do with What God Told You

Word of Wisdom is a revelation manifestation of the Gift of Holy Spirit. God is giving you instruction on what to do with the information that you have through word of knowledge. Or what to do in a given situation where you already have knowledge of it through your 5 senses.

These are “revelation” manifestations because they are God “revealing” something to you.

So Word of Knowledge is plain information, and Word of Wisdom is what to do with that information.

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT: Because what good is knowledge if you don’t know what to do with it, right?

That’s why these two manifestations are kind of like a package deal. They go together. But they can operate separately, and do at times. But usually one does them together.

Word of Knowledge and Word of Wisdom are not about you getting smart or being smart. Although that is usually a by product. Primarily it is about you getting specific information from God that you can not possibly know from your 5 senses.

They are two types of divine information that do not come from your brain because they are coming from the holy spirit.
